Community Advisory Board
Meetings will be open to the public and you are cordially invited to attend and provide comments. Established by federal law, the CAB's purpose is "to review the programming goals established by WYPR, the service provided by WYPR, and the significant policy decisions rendered by WYPR," and assess "whether the programming and other policies of the station are meeting the specialized educational and cultural needs of the communities served by the station." The CAB then makes the recommendations to the Board of Trustees which it considers appropriate. The CAB deliberates independently of station management and WYPR's Board of Trustees, determining its own agenda and electing its own leadership.

Description of WYPR's CAB
WYPR's Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a volunteer group of interested citizens and listeners that meets at least twice a year to gather public comment and to make non-binding recommendations to WYPR's Board of Trustees.

Meetings will be open to the public and you are cordially invited to attend and provide comments.
